On the 26th November Elementary 1 had a great trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington.
The Victoria and Albert Museum, London, is the world's largest museum of decorative arts and design, housing a permanent collection of over 4.5 million objects. It was founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
The children attended a great workshop and learnt about special Asian objects which nicely linked to the children's term project.
The children saw a beautiful red wooden Chinese Emperor chair, different Japanese kimonos, and a wooden tiger belonging to someone from India who loved tigers.
We had fun on our trip to the V&A museum!
