Elementary 2 visited Hampstead Heath to learn about the seasons and look for signs of Autumn, focusing on changes to the natural environment at this time of the year. The day turned out to be really pleasant and even sunny at times.
The children collected seeds and fallen autumn leaves of different colours and put them together to make 'eco art' bracelets. Led by group leaders from the educational department at Hampstead Heath, they also had a chance to run and play, acting like 'dandelion seeds blowing in the breeze'. They decorated a fallen tree trunk, as well as climbing it and jumping from it. 'Who needs a climbing frame' commented one of the team leaders!
A lovely day and lots of fun observing changes as we pass through Autumn.
