In September the children of the Junior school have learnt about the 6 world religions: Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism.
The children from Primary and Preparatory researched key elements of these religions, designed posters and presented them to the rest of the school as part of our Friday school assembly.
The children of Elementary 1 and 2 also learnt about the world religions with a focus on different places of worship such as church, synagogue, mosque, Hindu temple, Buddhist temple and Sikh temple.
Throughout this school year as in the past the children at the Junior school will learn about and celebrate festivals from around the world and from different religions.
Parents are more than welcome to share a festival and/or celebration that is important to them and would like to share with the children or one of the classes please let us know!
