On Friday, 13th May the youngest children of the junior school, (Reception Class) courageously performed the story of Florence Nightingale at the school’s assembly and spent the afternoons before the show passionately taking charge of their individual roles.
The rest of the school loved visiting Reception Class, watching their performance and learning more about the life of Florence Nightingale and why she was so special. There were many positive comments made by the older children after watching the performance such as: "That was great", "What a lovely play".
It is great to see that the younger ones were so confident sharing their knowledge with the older children of the school and the positive encouragement coming from the older children. Well done Reception Class!
Well done everyone!
What a lovely assembly!
