On Tuesday 26th February 2013. the Junior School celebrated Marie Curie Daffodil Day.

Many children came in to school wearing something in yellow and before lunch the whole school came together in an assembly to talk about Marie Curie Daffodil Day; its meaning and why Rainbow Montessori is trying to raise money. As usual the children had the opportunity to ask questions. After the assembly it was time for our group photo, but only some of the children wanted to be in it!

Elementary 1 bought yellow daffodils for all four classes the day before when they came back from their class trip, so all the classrooms have been decorated nicely with these flowers.

The yellow daffodils represent hope and positive thinking and we wanted to share this throughout the school.

We raised £100.00 for the Marie Curie Hospice. Thank you all for your donations!
