On Monday, 29th October we had a special visit from a policeman! Matthew spoke to the children of Elementary 1 and 2 about 'road safety' as part of our special 'being safe week' that is taking place this week at the Junior School.
The children were also encouraged to act out:
'stop - look - listen'.
Matthew then visited Primary and Preparatory to discuss how to stay safe when out and about and what to do & who to talk to when feeling unsafe.
The children then discussed the topic 'stranger danger' and enjoyed different role-play activities. After a short break Matthew also spoke to the children about 'road safety'.
The children also had the opportunity to find out why Matthew decided to work for the police force. It was wonderful to see the children so engaged and asking many questions.
A big thank you to Matthew!
