Preparatory have had a very busy two weeks since coming back from their well deserved half term break!
Last week was People Who Help Us week in school and Preparatory learned lots about the different professions such as being a policeman/policewoman or a builder.
They even got to see what it would be like to be a proper teacher last Friday when everyone created a lesson plan which they got to teach. There were all kind of lessons from football to algebra - we even learned some Hebrew, French and German! Quote from one Prep student: "The teaching was lots of fun but writing up the lesson plans wasn't."
For Halloween we made lots of spooky ghosts, bats, spiders and witches. We even designed our own masks which were really cool, and what kind of Halloween would it be if we didn't carve a pumpkin? We took his brain out with our hands - it was really disgusting but the end result was very cool!
In science we learned all about our eyes and we did some experiments to see what life would be like if we could only see with one eye or couldn't see at all. It was great fun but we realised how important it is to take care of our own eyes.
Yesterday we learned all about our teeth and did an experiment called EGG v SODA to see what will happen our teeth if we drink coke, sprite, juices and water!
Stay tuned for the results!
Below are a whole selection of photos we have taken - enjoy!
