Back to School!
We’ve had a wonderful start to the school year so far. The children have all been getting to know one another and easing back into their morning work cycles, project work and activities. Highlights have included making salt dough from scratch and the Mother Nature Science workshop where we made slime and witnessed explosions!
The children have especially taken to our new reading area where I regularly find them quietly absorbed in their books. We’re all getting extremely excited about what the term ahead holds, with ‘World Animal Day’, ‘Teacher’s Day’ and school trips to come, I’m sure it’s going to be an absolutely fantastic term!
We enjoyed starting our project about fundamental needs linking them to the Aztecs as part of history. In science we have started our research on the three states of matter currently focusing on gases and their characteristics.
I look forward to a busy term!
