The Primary class had a fantastic time on their visit to Keats House in Hampstead on 7th May 2015.
We enjoyed a two hour workshop with the lovely Lynda who had a great rapport with the children. She showed us around the house whilst sharing some history of Keats time there. The children did us proud asking interesting questions and sharing their own knowledge.
We then enjoyed a poetry workshop which consisted of the children listening to/acting out one of Keats poems and then having a go at writing one themselves. They showed real focus and creative flare! I have to say the teachers at Keats House were highly complimentary about our Primary group of children.
We then sat in the garden and enjoyed our lunch before heading off to the Heath for a bit of romping around and tree climbing.
All in all a brilliant day!
