As part of PSHE the children of Primary learnt about why Remembrance Day is celebrated and made beautiful pictures with poppy flowers.

The children of Preparatory also discussed why Remembrance Day is celebrated all around the UK and why red poppies are the special flowers for this day.

They also learnt and practised reciting the famous poem:

'In Flanders Fields'

written in 1915 by John McCrae.

All of the children were interested in discussing the meaning of this poem.
