Today we enjoyed finding out first hand about the British Library and in particular how to go about researching a subject.
The upshot is that we need to ask lots of questions to find the answers we are looking for. The children paired up and were able to choose an area of interest in the ‘Treasures of the British Library Gallery’.
They all came up with lots of questions with the help of a questions prompt dice which had single words on each face such as; who, what, where, when and how?
This was a really useful workshop in terms of the children’s studies this term.
