This morning in Preparatory, The Royal Shakespeare Company beamed the brilliant David Tennant into the classroom in a production of Richard II via a live satellite link!
The whole RSC experience was really well presented.
Here is a synopsis straight from the RSC website:
Richard is King. A monarch ordained by God to lead his people. But he is also a man of very human weakness. A man whose vanity threatens to divide the great houses of England and drag his people into a dynastic civil war that will last 100 years.
We prepared for the production by exploring a synopsis, analysing the plot structure and a piece of religious art: The Wilton Diptych.
