At the beginning of October the Junior school celebrated "World Peace Day".
As part of our Friday assembly we discussed the importance of peace for all of us. What peace means for us and the meaning of a peaceful classroom and school.
All classes then wrote their own peace messages and the younger ones drew pictures which we then shared at the end of the day in a second assembly that took place in the garden.
The children had the opportunity to share their thoughts with the school if they wanted to and in the end we put all the messages up on our tree which then became our special peace tree.
Thank you to all children for their great contributions!
